What's good to know before heading out in San Rafael
Bring a layer even in summer
Altitude and wind shift quickly around Atuel Canyon, Los Reyunos or the mountains. A layer always comes in handy.
Comfortable shoes for the viewpoints
For the Canyon, Valle Grande or Los Reyunos, sneakers or ankle boots work best. Some spots have uneven terrain.
Book lunch in advance
At wineries like Bianchi or Funckenhausen and in San Rafael restaurants, lunch slots fill up fast. Better to book the day before.
